Welcome to TECO (Technical Education Center Osceola), the only adult technical center in Osceola County. These are exciting times for TECO as we enter our 17th year of operation. Last year we saw an increase of 25% enrollment. The value of technical education and the impact it can have on an individual, both personally and professionally is evident.
TECO is proud to offer open-entry/open-exit, individualized, competency-based skills training, allowing students to master required skills at their personal learning pace. TECO offers Certificates directly associated with expanding skill level or preparing individuals for entry-level employment in today’s highly competitive workplace.
Our professional faculty is fully committed and prepared to ensure that each student is afforded the best opportunity to achieve the highest skill levels possible for success in their chosen training area. In addition, educational and career counseling services are available, along with active student organizations, such as Skills USA, which comprise a well rounded curriculum and educational experiences.
A major contributor to our success has been the close working relationship we enjoy with business and industry in our area. The input of program-specific local industry advisory committees has allowed us to develop industry-standard quality curriculum.
