Attendance Policy

All students are expected to attend school regularly, to derive maximum benefit from all instructional and technical programs and to develop habits of punctuality, self-discipline, and responsibility.  NOTE:  It is the responsibility of the student to know the attendance policies for his/her program.

Students absences seriously impair and individual's ability to successfully master technical content and complete the career preparatory program.  The following attendance guidelines are a minimum standard for all TECO students:

Veterans are allowed three (3) unexcused absences within a calendar month.  VA will be notified when four (4) unexcused absences have been recorded and benefits will be terminated.

Attendance requirements for specific programs or financial aid may differ from those outlined above.  It is the responsibility of the students to know the attendance policies for the program

Student Conduct

Enrollment in TECO is voluntary.  Upon admission to the school, the student has an obligation to adhere to the standards established by the school.  In addition, students must follow the rules and guidelines stated in the County Code of Student Conduct and the School Board Rules.  The administration, faculty, and staff assume that students are mature and responsible for their own performance, and all school and district rules are strictly enforced.
