Law Enforcement Officer

Mission:  The Criminal Justice Academy of Osceola is committed to excellence in providing the most extensive, relevant and comprehensive training to present and future law enforcement and corrections officers in order to provide our citizens with the highest level of professional service possible.

Description:  This program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills expanding the traditional role of the Law Enforcement Officer.  It is designed and updated constantly to provide employers with critical thinking criminal justice professionals.

Program Requirements

  • Completion of Criminal Justice Application

  • Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test
  • Polygraph
  • Fingerprinting/Background Check
  • Physical/EKG/Drug Test
  • Physical Fitness Test
  • High School Diploma

Program Commitment

  • 770 Hours

Costs

  • Tuition and Lab: $3,195.50
  • Additional costs for fees, books, and other expenses

Schedule

  • Full Time Session: Monday-Thursday 7:00 am -6:00 pm
  • Part Time Session: Monday-Thursday 6:15 pm - 9:15 pm AND Saturday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
