Pharmacy Technician

Mission:  The mission of this program is to enhance patient care, reduce medication errors, and promote wellness and to provide quality patient care.

Description:  The Pharmacy Technician program is a challenging course that offers students real world hands-on training in the out-patient and in-patient settings of pharmacy.  Upon completion of the program you can gain National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician.

  • Communication Skills
  • Compounding of Medications
  • Intravenous admixtures

Occupational Completion Points

  • Health Core - 90 hours
  • Pharmacy Technician 1 - 360 hours
  • Pharmacy Technician 2 - 300 hours
  • Pharmacy Technician 3 - 300 hours

Successful completion of an OCP may qualify a student for employment.

Costs

  • Tuition and Lab: $3,412.50
  • Additional costs for fees, books, and other expenses

Schedule

  • Full Time Day Session: Monday-Friday 7:30 am -2:10 pm
  • Part-Time Evening Session: Mon., Tues., Thurs. 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm
