School Profile

Established in April of 1994, TECO is the only adult technical center in Osceola County Florida.  It is situated on approximately 15 acres of land. 

 

TECO provides training in the following career clusters: Architecture & Construction; Arts, A/V Technology & Communications; Business, Management & Administration; Health Sciences; Hospitality & Tourism; Information Technology; and Transportation, Distribution & Logistics.

TECO students represent a broad spectrum of cultural, national, and racial backgrounds in 24 certificate programs.

Through collaboration with business and industry, TECO develops and provides competency-based training.  Programs are based on competencies that prepare students to attain jobs as well as the academics and employability skill necessary to enter specific occupations.  Instruction is based on current job tasks identified and validated by employers.
